Artist Resume

Irina Lord is a Vancouver based visual artist and filmmaker. She has directed two narrative shorts (“Waves” 2018; “META” 2019), and one documentary short commissioned by the Creators Network and broadcasted on CBC (“IIKITAPIIT” 2019). Her experimental video art has been exhibited both in the UK and Canada, most notably at the Audain Gallery in Vancouver, and the Museum of Modern Art Oxford in England. In 2015 she received a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Oxford, followed by an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Simon Fraser University in 2018. She is the recipient of the Colin McPhee Scholarship in Fine Arts.
